Welcome to Patient Engagement.
Catalyst is grateful to work with persons who are affected with the rare diseases in which we are developing treatments. It is this spirit that has become our focus and which drives our decisions and processes.
"Patient engagement" is the act of seeking to listen to and learn from people affected by these diseases. At Catalyst, we take patient engagement many steps further––with a caring commitment to helping those whose needs have been overlooked communicate their point of view.
As a small emerging pharmaceutical company dedicated to the research and development of treatments for rare neurological and neuromuscular diseases, Catalyst is moving into a new phase that will allow us to extend the reach and depth of our relationships with affected patients and their caregivers. As we continue to understand and follow them on their challenging journeys, we're dedicated to sharing what we learn from those who can help effect positive change––researchers, healthcare providers, insurance companies, policy makers, and advocacy organizations.
We'd like to share what we've heard from patients with rare neuromuscular diseases like Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS) and Congenital Myasthenic Syndromes (CMS). Please take a few minutes to listen to or read about their experiences. As supporters of Rare Disease Day, we look forward to hearing and sharing much more as we continue our progress against these diseases.
We are honored to not only work for patients with rare diseases but to work with them towards hope for a brighter future.
